How Ireland AI Talent collects, uses and protects your information.
Who we are
Ireland AI Talent (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a specialist recruitment practice founded by Maura Hayes, currently in development, focused on connecting Irish companies with AI, engineering and technology talent across Ireland and the EU. For the purposes of data protection law, Maura Hayes is the data controller responsible for your personal information.

What information we collect
Depending on how you interact with our website, we may collect:
Contact details: name, email address, phone number
Professional information: job title, company, LinkedIn profile, portfolio/GitHub links, years of experience, seniority level, specialist skills, work authorisation status, salary expectations, availability, and employment and location preferences
Enquiry details: company name, hiring requirements, and any information you include in a message to us
Technical information: submission timestamps and a system-generated submission reference
We collect this information directly from you when you complete a form on our website — joining the Talent Pool, submitting an employer enquiry, or getting in touch through our contact form.
Why we use your information
We use your information to:
Consider you for relevant AI, engineering and technology opportunities, if you join our Talent Pool
Respond to hiring enquiries from employers
Respond to general enquiries and correspond with you
Maintain accurate records of who we’ve spoken with and why
Our legal basis for processing
Where you’ve ticked a consent checkbox — for example, joining the Talent Pool — we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Where you contact us as an employer or with a general enquiry, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries directed at us, and in some cases on taking steps prior to a possible contract.
Where your information is stored
Information submitted through our forms is stored securely in Airtable, a cloud-based database provider. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not add Talent Pool candidates to any marketing communications automatically.
How long we keep your information
We keep your information for as long as it’s relevant to the purpose it was collected for — for example, while we’re actively considering you for opportunities, or your enquiry is open — and will delete or anonymise it when it’s no longer needed, or sooner if you ask us to.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
Access the personal information we hold about you
Ask us to correct inaccurate information
Ask us to delete your information
Object to or restrict how we use your information
Request a copy of your information in a portable format
Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent

We may update this notice from time to time as our business develops. We’ll update the date below when we do.
